Dieting Day 5 & Extra

On Friday I started the low carb, not necessarily Atkins, Diet. I started it cause I saw how much weight my friends lost on it and seriously need to lose weight as I am approaching Obesity III. Plus I find it easier to count carbs than calories as you only have to count up to 20. Where as calories you have to keep track of anywhere from 1200 to 2500 calories and that is just too much math especially with the way I eat.

It has been hard going without bread and potatoes and burritos and pizza, etc etc and I have mostly kept on track. During the weekend I did two small shots of vodka (one on each day). Also during the last five days I also have had a few cups (less than or equal to five) of Coke Zero and I am hoping that neither of those things have slowed down the fat burning process.

I also wanted to start exercising again, but being on this diet really zaps all my energy to really do anything, Also on Sunday morning I woke up with a really bad charlie horse in my left leg and I can still feel a little bit of strain on it. Not sure if that was caused by this diet or maybe dehydration or combination of both.

What is also weird is I find myself still staying up until 2 or 3am, but waking up at 8 to 9 am and than wanted to take a 60 to 90 minute nap at noon. Before I used to just sleep until 11am or noon.

Tomorrow I am going grocery shopping and hope to get snacks that are safe to eat while on this diet and few more things to go with lunch and dinner as right now I only have broccoli, tuna, and chicken.

Another thing I wanted to mention is my friend, and possibly yours, Paul W. has let me know that two TV shows are filming here in Portland and are looking for extras. One is the TNT Show Leverage which is filming its fourth season. The other is a new TV Show that will is soon to premiere on NBC called Grimm.

For Leverage I guess you have to go to extrasonly.com and make a profile there. I have done that, but for me it is going to be hard to get a picture they want of me as it looks like they want a recent picture that has a plain (one color) background and I do not have any of those. They also want $25 plus $5 for each month for your account to be active (whatever that means) and I do not think I have the funds to do that and not even sure if I have to do that to be considered for Leverage.

For Grimm it was much easier as all I had to do was fill out a form. I did not even have to sign up on a website. The link for that form can be found here.  If you know a similar link, but for the show leverage, or know if I really have to pay the activation fee on extras only than please let me know.

One last thing I wanted to mention is I did get 2nd in our (almost) annual Deuces Poker Heads-Up Tournament last Sunday night and Jamal S. got first prize, but we only had one match and the finals are supposed to be two out of three. So, I really want to have a rematch and this time be the best two out of three. I would even be willing to wager on it and the winner is called the 2011 Deuces Poker Heads-Up Champion. I would be thankful if anyone reading this can pass this message to him. I would call him, but I do not have his number.

That is all for now...

Heading Home & WWE MITB Thoughts

I am finally heading home (after I write this and pack up my stuff) from my mom's house after reciving severe verbal abuse from my sister, but it is nothing I am not used to.

When I talk about heading home I can only start thinking about CM Punk and his amazing win at the WWE Money in the Bank last Sunday night. Will CM Punk be heading home of old; Ring of Honor, with the WWE Championship or could he take it to a new home; TNA (or is it IMPACT!) Wrestling, or will it just all be forgoten about and never show up on anyother wrestling promotion?

I think none of the above. I think with what happen on Monday Night Raw that CM Punk will reach an agreement with the new chairman of the board of WWE and come back to his present home; WWE. And I hope they finally throw away the current design of the WWE Championship as CM Punk said he would do a week ago. I also think that Rey and Miz will still have their match, but the winner instead face CM Punk & John Cena at SummerSlam in a Triple Threat match for the WWE Championship or maybe they will take into account that Del Rio won a #1 contendorship three weeks ago and throw all five of them into a Championship Scramble match.

What did you think of CM Punk's win? Also what do you think will happen in the upcoming weeks to SummerSlam 2011?

Also did you watch the Money in the Bank PPV? If so, what did you think of it. I found the PPV listed on the daily motion website. If you search for xxxmitbxxx you should be able to find it. I watched the two world title matches and thought the Christian/Orton match was 3.5/5 stars and that the CM Punk/Cena match was 4/5 star match and from what I read the about the whole PPV is that it was the best WWE event of the year.

1st Blog Post, Test, & HP7B Thoughts

Hello blogger world. I have just linked my google account on facebook and so I am hoping this post will show up on facebook. I am also hoping it shows up on google plus since google owners blogger.  So, this is a test to see if both of those happen and if so it will solve the dilemma of having to post in both except for when I am tagging my location.

Also wanted to post about the movie I just seen which is part 2 of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows. I thought it was one of the better movies of the summer, if not the best one I have seen so far. There are certain things you can nitpick about how certain characters go out and also about character development, but it is a pretty solid movie. I believe they also should have done a quick recap of the previous movie to get people who have either not seen part 1 or who have forgot about it up to speed. The movie get a solid 8/10 from me.

What are your thoughts on the movie?
